As a child I made up poetry about everything I felt and could see. I was passionate about animals, in fact I was passionate about all living things. I felt as though I could see the world through the eyes of even the smallest of insects, and what I saw became the subject of my poems. I have been writing poems all of my life. I write about my life, and the people, animals, creatures and natural beauty of our world . Most of my Poems are happy, a few are reflections of the pain and heartache that is part of all of our lives. I hope you enjoy them.

THE SENTINAL In trust he came t

In trust he came to be my friend
Splashed with white and speckled black
His trusting eyes say it all
But happiness was not always there
He came my way by sheer luck
His honest eyes follow me
Where ere' I walk he's by my side
A character he is, with pride
Never erring on his path
Be it ball or bone to chew
His personality is sometimes rough
But his beauty is in his trust
And while I work he's by my side
The bearing is in his head
His flip over ears are silky cut
With wagging tail and clear gold eyes
My friend, my pal, its YOU I LOVE.
